Qualcomm, CH2M HILL and The City of Cincinnati Collaborate on Integrated Water Communications Solutions, A Step in Delivering Smart Cities

Part of Presentation:

"The City of Cincinnati Selects CH2M HILL Water Technology Innovation Project to Design and Implement Water Connectivity Solutions Utilizing Qualcomm’s M2M Cellular Technology"

There is a possibility of securing San Diego's water resources' drought-resilience utilizing Qualcomm's new M2M (machine to machine) techonology. Qualcomm's Jason Ellis recently finished a Smart Water Assets sector M2M cellular-based Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS) module for the SmartAmerica Challenge (a White House Presidential Innovation fellow project) optimizing the use of limited water resources during drough management through the reduction of water loss associated with unplanned uses.
